Sun, Sand & Safety: Beach Water Safety 2026 sponsored by Medibank

International students, whether you're a confident swimmer or have never dipped a toe in the water, this session is for you! No matter your skill level, staying safe at Australian beaches is essential.

Do you know how to spot a rip current? Understanding beach hazards can make all the difference.

Designed especially for international students, this session will introduce you to both the beauty and the potential dangers of Australian beaches, all while enjoying sand and good vibes.

Your $10 ticket includes:

  • One-way chartered bus from RMIT Alumni Courtyard
  • Delicious lunch and refreshments
  • Expert guidance from certified lifesavers
  • A free Medibank goodie bag
  • Certificate of Participation
