Skye Wu, Associate Director – Accenture
Currently an Associate Director at Accenture, our next panelist brings deep expertise in cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics and proactive risk management. With previous leadership roles at Telstra, KordaMentha and PwC - and early experience as a Digital Forensic Analyst with Victoria Police - they've worked across both reactive investigations and forward-looking cyber strategy.
Passionate about building diverse and inclusive security teams, they've led threat intelligence functions, recruited emerging talent, and mentored the next generation of professionals through AWSN and community programs. Their career reflects a strong belief that cyber security is not just about technology - it's about people, purpose and impact.
Kylie Breheny, Independent IRAP Assessor and Trainer
With more than 25 years spanning defence, telecommunications, banking and consulting, our next panelist brings a rare whole-of-ecosystem view of cyber security. Currently a Trainer & Assessor and serving as a reservist in the Royal Australian Air Force, they combine frontline defence experience with senior consulting leadership across GRC, security strategy and cyber transformation.
A nominee for the 2021 Australian Women in Security Awards (Unsung Hero), their career reflects a deep commitment to protecting business and country — and to developing the next generation of cyber professionals.
Negar Shabab, Senior Security Researcher, Microsoft
Currently a Senior Security Researcher at Microsoft, our next panelist specialises in identifying and mitigating emerging threats at scale. With a strong foundation in malware analysis, application security and detection engineering, they have progressed from hands-on technical roles to leading analysis teams developing tools to combat complex threats, including non-PE and script-based malware.
Prior to Microsoft, they worked as an AppSec Consultant and Malware Analyst, building deep expertise in vulnerability research and secure software practices. Holding Master's degrees in Computer Software Engineering and Electronic Commerce, they combine academic depth with real-world impact in defending organisations and users globally.
