RMIT course changes for 2024 intake

As part of our annual program review cycle, RMIT has made the following changes to select course offerings applicable from the semester 1 2024 intake:

Course structure changes

Education The Bachelor of Education is now limited to Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Bachelor of Education (Primary and Early Childhood)
Science

The Bachelor of Science now includes new Geospatial and Mathematics majors in addition to:

  • Biological Sciences
  • Biotechnology
  • Chemistry
  • Food Science and Technology
  • Nutrition Science
  • Physics
  • Statistics
Professional Communication The new Bachelor of Professional Communication will include a major in advertising, replacing the Bachelor of Communication (Advertising). Students are able to select to major in Advertising, Digital Communication and/or Public Relations.
