Extra support for international students

We know that with the right support, our students flourish.

We understand that as international students, you sometimes face extra challenges in your learning, whether you’re studying online from outside Australia while travel restrictions are in place, or looking to complete your course on-campus.

At RMIT University, we don’t want our students to miss out on a thing.

So in addition to the huge range of study support, social activities and other services already available to students, RMIT has invested in extra support for you to access when and where it suits you:

  • quality teaching support
  • make friends and connections
  • technology troubleshooting.

Here are a few reasons you can feel confident that studying an RMIT course online now, and on-campus later is your pathway to future success.

Quality teaching support

If you feel you need extra help with your English language or writing, we’ve partnered with Studiosity to provide personal support.

Whether it’s essays or reports for your assessments, you can chat one on one with subject specialists on the platform anytime, 24/7, or submit your document for them to give feedback.

International Student
I really appreciate and like the platform. It really helps me as I’m always scared of asking ‘silly’ questions, but with Studiosity it all vanishes.

Making new connections

Through the digital app Vygo, we are uniting international students with mentors so that you can connect with a social network of your RMIT peers and chat about life, work, study or anything else on your mind.

Student life

Virtual student club and digital social activities have been extremely popular in 2020, so don't worry about being out of the loop with your friends just because you're not physically in Melbourne. There's lots for you to get involved in - take a look.

Tech support

Learning online doesn’t mean you have to do it all on your own. RMIT will offer lots of extra support, and we’ve got a dedicated team on hand to support with any technology and VPN issues.

Get job ready

We have extra people on hand for you to reach out for job support or career advice.
