The Rapid Rise of Telehealth – Australia and Europe Scaling Up


The highly successful and well attended international webinar, Australia and Europe – Digital Health Transformation, Agility and Resilience held on Thursday 3 September 2020 was organized under RMIT’s ‘A Healthier Start’ Initiative, part of the ECP Post COVID-19 Initiatives series together with the European Connected Health Alliance.

More than 170 attendees were provided with insights into the rapid scale-up of telehealth practices within Australia and Scotland with expert speakers sharing best practices across different health systems

The event was opened up by Prof Calum Drummond AO, DVC, R&I & Vice President who spoke about RMIT’s ECP led Restart Programs and his vision of society opening up post COVID19 and moderated by Prof Magdalena Plebanski, Director of the Biomedical & Health Innovation ECP who delivered the audience’s engaging questions to the event’s stellar speakers.
