Towards just and resilient supply chains for the digital CBD

Just and resilient supply chains are fundamental to the development of a digital CBD. In order to build digital cities, digital supply chains need to be built first.

Join Lead Author Dr Tharuka Rupasinghe for the online  release of Report 3 in the Digital CBD research series, which will examine the challenges and opportunities through Web 3.0 technology, to build more resilient, secure and just supply chains.

This will be followed by a robust Q&A session with questions fielded by the audience facilitated by Associate Professor Chris Berg, with Dr Rupasinghe and industry experts Dr Konrad Peszynski and Professor Matt Warren.

This event will provide insights from the report specifically how rapidly accelerated technology adoption combined with the COVID-19 pandemic radically changed the way supply chains and cities now operate. It will also identify opportunities and proposes a set of recommendations for implementation in order to build more resilient and just supply chains towards a digital CBD.

It is the third report in a five part research series which unpacks the opportunities and research required to develop a digital CBD. For more information on this project, please visit the Digital CBD Project website.
