We identify and assemble the ideal research team with the required expertise, establishing a clear research program with defined milestones and deliverables.

Strategic bid development

As your research partner, we provide expert support to develop a highly competitive grant application, assisting with the research plan, budget, and program guidelines.

Delivery and commercialisation

RMIT’s scope of work provides clear deliverables to streamline project management for the lead industry partner. This helps keep the project on schedule and budget, delivering impactful research outputs primed for commercialisation.

What makes a successful CRC-P?

  • Successful CRC-Ps are built on true collaboration. To ensure we prepare the strongest possible application, here is what we look for in a partnership
  • An Industry-Led Challenge: The project must be driven by your organisation to solve a clear industry problem. As the project lead, your organisation is responsible for the overall project management, direction, and reporting.
  • A Commitment to Collaboration: CRC-Ps require active involvement. Successful projects involve matched cash and/or in-kind contributions from industry partners to leverage the Commonwealth funding.
  • Clear Commercial Goals: The objective of the research must be a defined commercial output, such as a new product, improved service, or a scalable process that provides your business with a competitive advantage.
  • SME Involvement: The CRC-P program requires the involvement of at least one Australian Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME). We can help facilitate these connections if your primary organisation is a large enterprise.
  • Clear IP Strategy: We establish fair and transparent Intellectual Property (IP) agreements upfront, ensuring you have a clear path to utilise the project outcomes for commercial benefit.
