In collaboration with Eurecat and SEAT within the framework of the Joint Research Unit, the initiative explores innovative solutions for producing high-quality replacement parts. RMIT is responsible for 3D printing components using both a standard alloy and a novel, custom-developed alloy. Eurecat will handle the testing and analysis of the printed parts to assess their performance and suitability for real-world automotive applications. The goal is to develop advanced manufacturing techniques and materials to meet the growing demands of the automotive replacement parts market.
