Information for direct to RMIT applicants about accepting your offer and enrolment.
If you've applied direct to RMIT and your application is successful, you will receive your offer email to the address you registered with. The email will contain your offer, information about accepting your offer. You can also view the details of your offer via My Dashboard.
Once you accept the offer of your preferred course, any other offers will be automatically withdrawn. Other preferences still under assessment will also be withdrawn. You may want to wait until you have received an outcome for all your preferences to decide on accepting the right course for you.
If you’ve received a conditional offer, you must wait until you have a full offer before you can accept. Once the conditions issued have been met, you will be issued a full offer.
Once you have an outcome for your preference(s), it is strongly recommended that you accept your offer as soon as possible. Otherwise, you may miss out on your preferred classes or your offer may lapse. If you haven’t already accepted before the deadline for your course, we will send you a reminder email.
If you decline an offer it will be withdrawn completely. If you have other preferences they will continue to be assessed.
If you choose to decline an offer, you will lose the opportunity to reactivate it later should you change your mind. To pursue the same course again, you will need to go through the application process in the next intake period.
Deferral is an option available only after you have formally accepted your offer. Once accepted, you can defer to the next intake, ensuring that your spot in the course is reserved for you when you're ready to commence.
Upon acccepting your offer you will be emailed details on how to enrol. You can only enrol in classes once enrolment becomes available. To secure your place you must enrol in classes or defer your enrolment.
Class timetabling is different for vocational education and higher education:
