On campus day delivery
This 12-month program is delivered face-to-face on campus at the RMIT Melbourne City Campus over one day per week (6.5 hours per day, typically sometime between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM).
The program is teacher-led and timetabled on weekdays (Monday to Friday). The weekdays timetabled may vary from one semester to the next depending on staffing and facility availability.
This Certificate IV program is structured across two semesters (18 weeks each) to provide learners sufficient time to complete the qualification while minimising disruptions to their work or other daytime commitments.
Within the 6.5-hour day, time is allocated for students to work on assessment tasks, including one (1) hour during which no new content is delivered, allowing students to focus exclusively on their assessments.
Please note: Days and times are subject to change. Always confirm with the Program Coordinator or refer to the official timetable for the latest updates.
Online evening delivery
For those unable to attend daytime classes, the program is also offered in an online delivery mode using the Collaborate Ultra platform.
These evening classes are scheduled over two evenings per week, totalling 6.5 hours of teacher-led instruction. Typical class times would be:
- Evening 1: 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM
- Evening 2: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This evening schedule accommodates learners who are working full-time or part-time while undertaking this program.
As with the on-campus delivery, time is allocated within the 6.5-hour weekly schedule for students to focus exclusively on their assessment tasks (i.e. there is one (1) hour per week with no new content delivered).
Please note: Days and times are subject to change. Always confirm with the Program Coordinator or refer to the official timetable for the latest updates.
