Overview

The Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching course consists of four modules and is considered to be the industry entry level certification for network engineers.

This "Connecting Networks" module discusses the WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in a complex network. By the end of the module students should be able to understand the selection criteria of network devices and WAN technologies to meet network requirements and develop the knowledge and skills required to implement virtual private network (VPN) operations in a complex network.

This course comprises 40 hours of online learning, followed by a face-to-face exam.

The four-part CCNA Routing & Switching series provides an integrated and comprehensive coverage of networking topics. It provides opportunities for hands-on practical experience and career skills development.

Prerequisites

Participants should have a basic understanding of using Windows-based computers. There are no formal pre-requisites for CCNA certification, Basic networking knowledge, basic IP addressing and understanding of network fundamentals are recommended.
