Overview

This exam is for RMIT plumbing students who have previously attempted the Plumbing Registration Exam and RMIT and are required to be examined again in one or more of the following classes of plumbing work:

  • Drainage
  • Gasfitting
  • Mechanical Services
  • Roofing (Stormwater)
  • Sanitary 
  • Water Supply

To help you pass your Plumbing Registration Exam, revision classes are held the week before the exams.

NOTE: Students from TAFE colleges outside of RMIT must contact the BPC to book their exam.

Course content

  • Students repeating the entire exam (5 or 6 streams) will be typically required for 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
  • Students repeating 3 or 4 streams will typically be required to attend 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday).
  • Students repeating 1 or 2 streams  will typically be required to attend 1 day (Thursday)

Prerequisites

Plumbing apprentices who have completed the current Victorian Certificate III in Plumbing training at RMIT and previously attempted the Plumbing Registration Exam.

Materials supplied

All relevant materials, assessment equipment and examinations are included.

Materials to bring

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools and optional equipment.

Suited to

Students who have previously attempted the Journeymans exam and have been told they need to resit one or more of the classes.

Outcome
