Our department has a strong research track record in global collaboration, built on long-standing partnerships through various ARC research hubs and training centres, particularly two current Advanced Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centres (AMCRC) and Australian Composites Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (ACMCRC). We built partnerships with leading international and local enterprises, including Boeing, Ford, BlueScope Steel, Petronas, BAE Systems, Defence and many more. We have extensive experience and a board range of expertise to co-develop transformative solutions across aerospace, automotive, defence, and sustainable manufacturing sectors.
Through joint R&D projects, international PhD programs, technology exchange, and strategic innovation partnerships, we enable global partners to access RMIT’s multidisciplinary expertise, state-of-the-art facilities, and Australia’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
