About the Employer of Choice program

The program is designed to create and foster mutually beneficial relationships between the school, registered industry employers and PCPM students.

Ways to connect as an Employer of Choice

Become a mentor

Give back to the community in the form of student mentorship. RMIT's School of Property, Construction and Project Management has several ways you can get involved in mentorship programs with our students. Our foremost and flagship program – the Industry Mentorship Program – offers industry experts the opportunity to provide guidance to final year students, with input into their final year projects.

Sponsor an award

Each year the School of PCPM runs an Industry, Research and Awards night. The night is about networking, rewarding student achievements and showcasing student work.

Create brand awareness through our Careers Days

Your organisation can be involved as an industry partner who will have a stand and present to, and meet with, our students.

Advertise a job role to RMIT students and alumni

As a registered Employer of Choice, you can advertise your roles to our students and alumni free of charge. Please complete our brief online form in order to register a job for advertising. The advertisement will be placed on our inhouse job board for RMIT students and alumni only, and a direct email will be sent out to the student group of your choice (identified in your form response).

Provide a scholarship

Offering a scholarship can be a great way to attract the best students and offer them support with their studies. You can set the criteria, review the applications and choose the student who best fits your organisation’s goals. Many organisations offer a scholarship alongside a graduate program or internship opportunity.

We advertise scholarships to our students through:

  • the Career Hub student job board
  • direct emails sent out to students of your choice
  • our website
  • our social media platforms.

Recognition for scholarship providers

Your scholarship will be promoted through our website.

You will be given the opportunity to present to your scholarship winner at our Annual Industry, Research and Awards Night – with your logo appearing on the website, presentation slides, program and certificate.

Email Daniel McLinden at employerofchoicepcpm@rmit.edu.au if you would like to discuss this opportunity.
