Teaching interests

Architectural Design Studio, Major Project Students, and PhD candidates, 20th Century Western History, Architecture and urbanism in Asia Pacific region and speculative contextual specificities. I work with critical writing and generative design, and the relationship between digital and analogue.

Research interests

Architecture

-Contemporary Australian architecture, housing and local vernaculars
-Asian architecture and questions of identity and contemporary vernaculars, suburban developments and the architect
-Reciprocity between landscape and architecture, between social occupation and typological adjustments
-Design practice research; South East Asian International students and their experience of studying architecture in Australia.
