Mid Yarra River Summary

The litter trackers at the Yarra River, released at Westerfolds Park, were all trapped in the Yarra in riparian vegetation. This part of the Yarra winds through parkland. One tracker made it to the Yarra Bend Park travelling 31.6 km in total. It is likely that any litter that enters the Yarra near the launch point at Westerfolds Park is likely to remain in the water system for an indefinite time.
