Monthly RMIT Games Day 2026

RMIT are back for RMIT Games Day 2026 tournaments!

These events are a perfect opportunity to experience playing in a tournament format, meeting well-renowned Kanga Esports players, and having an all-round great experience with friends and colleagues.

RMIT and Kanga Esports are running monthly events on RMIT home soil, leading the way with a range of games. Tournament formats are double elimination with an upper and lower bracket.

Come along and watch or participate for prize money and prizes!

  • Venue: RMIT University City Campus Building 28, Level 3 – Gaming hub, Enter via Swanston Street alley near Building 8

  • Player Entry Fee: $15 Entry (Free for RMIT Students)
  • Spectator Entry Fee: $5 (Access to play all the setups but not enter tournaments). The first 25 people to use the code EARLYBIRD will receive 33% off their ticket!
  • Prizes: $20,000+ Prize pool, Full Breakdown can be found on our RMIT Games Day website.

Terms and conditions

Entrants must be 16 years or older, and entrants under 18 must have a parent's or Legal guardian's consent

*All tournament games will have setups available for casuals before/after tournaments from 12 Noon to 7pm.

Bring your own controllers/peripherals and adapters! (If you forget, we do have controllers/adapter at the registration desk available to borrow).

Note: registration opens 2 weeks prior to the upcoming event.

Photography and recording at RMIT events

When you attend RMIT official events or activities you may be photographed or recorded. By attending the event, you agree to RMIT's Terms.
