Provocations: Is It Too Late to Save the Internet?

It's time to debate the pros and cons of the internet as it rapidly speeds us toward an unpredictable future.

Join us for a passionate debate about what can be done to save the internet from irreversible enshittification. Hear from journalists, academics, experts and comedians as they shine a light on the online corners of creativity and community, the legal and technical protections that can keep us safe, and the technological advances – from AI to encryption – that can improve our lives, if only we can harness them. Expect sharp insights and practical ideas from each speaker, and reboot, reclaim and perhaps even restore your faith in the internet.

This event is part of Provocations - RMIT University's Talks and Ideas series.
