Direct RMIT application

Apply direct to RMIT if you:

  • have not yet commenced a VTAC application, and
  • you are not currently studying Year 12, and
  • are applying to only one program, or
  • have held a place in an RMIT program in the past year. 

VTAC application

Apply through VTAC if you:

  • are ineligible to apply direct to RMIT.

VTAC application

Apply via the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) if you are:

  • an international student ​currently ​studying ​an​ Australian Year 12 ​(in Australia or overseas); ​​or​
  • an International Baccalaureate ​(​in Australia or New Zealand)

Direct RMIT international applications

Apply for on-campus study via the online Application Portal:

  • All other international students.

Please note: Entry to this course is competitive. Eligible applicants are ranked and selected in order of merit based on their academic achievement plus any adjustment factors. Offers are made in order from highest to lowest rank until all places are filled.

Please note:

  1. Applicants who are required to apply for a student visa are recommended to apply and accept their offers for minimum of 4 – 8 weeks prior to program’s commencement date to allow sufficient visa processing time. For further information please see student visa application processing time.
  2. Application with selection task or credit assessment and application for change of program must be submitted by 3 February.
  3. Applicants who are required to attend an interview with International Admissions must attend an interview by 7 January and accept their offers by 11 January.
  4. Applications and Enrolments are subject to places and availability.
