The Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at RMIT are both accredited by the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC).
Both degrees focus on applied knowledge with an emphasis on work-integrated learning and industry-focused applications.

Students who complete the Bachelor of Psychology component of the Bachelor + Honours Psychology degree package with an average of at least 78% for the sequence of core psychology subjects* are guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and will automatically progress to the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) without needing to apply for entry.
Students in the package who do not achieve an average of at least 78% for the entire APAC-approved sequence can submit an application for entry to the stand-alone Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). However, applications will be assessed competitively alongside those from non-pathway Honours applicants.
