Introducing our new campus

Our Franklin Street campus was designed with students and learning in mind.

It features modern classrooms and specialist spaces for Art, Computer Design, Business, and the Sciences across four teaching floors. Each floor houses approximately ten classrooms designed to foster collaboration, and numerous breakout areas, quiet study spaces, and common areas, all designed with colourful aesthetics making use of natural light.

Our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, including dual interactive displays, height-adjustable teaching points, and cameras for live streaming and recording. Specialist facilities include art rooms with special lighting, a print room with 3D printers, and dedicated STEM labs for physics, chemistry, and biology.

To support health and wellbeing, the campus offers dedicated counselling spaces, rooms for one-on-one and group academic support sessions, a student lounge and a dedicated parent room.

Students can bring their lunch and eat in one of two student cafes; there’s also an onsite barista and ample dining and entertainment options at Queen Victoria Market, RMIT University, Melbourne Central shopping centre all within a few minutes’ walk. The building has a dedicated storage facility for bikes and scooters, complete with end-of-trip-facilities, offering a healthy and cheap transport option.

Language Testing Centre

Level 1 of RMIT UP is home to our Language Testing Centre, which offers IELTS and PTE English language proficiency tests. The centre, designed with an intuitive layout, features modern testing rooms, and waiting areas for every stage of the test day.
