As part of the 'Integrated Perspectives on Business Problems' (IPBP) course within our Bachelor of Business Program, five groups had the opportunity to present their solutions to a real-industry challenge posed by Medibank, allowing these students to build their portfolio of experience and highlighting RMIT's commitment to developing work-ready graduates.
Our students got to experience our authentic, active and applied learning and teaching philosophy first hand as part of the Impact Academy subject we ran in partnership with RMIT Activator. Meals with Impact worked with our students across the Semester as they prepared to launch their new café in Melbourne's Docklands precinct. Not only did the challenge set by Meals with Impact help our students to hone their strategic thinking skills, as Laila says, working with a "real business changing real lives" made the experience so much more rewarding.
