Using the index search

To search using the form, you have the option to search by dataset and by company or industry. By default, the results are displayed based on their rank. However, you can use the 'Sort by' drop-down menu to arrange the results by Company, Industry, Rating, or dimensions such as Governance, Economic, Social, Environmental, or Overall.

For the 2023 data, information onthe definition of the Index values in the results table is as follows:

  • 0: The corresponding disclosure GRI is not reported
  • 1: Less than 50% of the reporting requirements of the corresponding disclosure GRI are reported
  • 2: 50% or more of the reporting requirements of the corresponding disclosure GRI are reported

For the 2024 data, information on the definition of the Index values in the results table is as follows:

  • 0: The corresponding GRI disclosure is not reported
  • 1: Less than 50% of the reporting requirements for the corresponding GRI disclosure are reported
  • 2: Exactly 50% of the reporting requirements for the corresponding GRI disclosure are reported
  • 3: More than 50% but less than 100% of the reporting requirements for the corresponding GRI disclosure are reported
  • 4: 100% of the reporting requirements for the corresponding GRI disclosure are reported

In 2023, data from 182 ASX-listed companies were collected and coded using a 3-point coding scheme. In 2024, data from 244 ASX-listed companies, including the original 182 from 2023, were collected and coded using an enhanced 5-point coding scheme. As a result, the following three datasets are available for analysis:

  1. 2023 dataset with 182 ASX listed companies coded in the 3-point coding scheme;
  2. 2024 dataset with 182 ASX listed companies coded in the 3-point coding scheme; and
  3. 2024 dataset with 244 ASX listed companies coded in the 5-point coding scheme.
