Italian

A romance language derived from Latin, Italian is synonymous with art history, literature, archaeology, philosophy, music, food, fashion, cinema and cultural heritage. Italy is one of the most historically rich countries in the world, and is the country with the most UNESCO world heritage sites in the world.

The Italian community has long influenced Australian life, helping shape Melbourne's music, food and coffee culture, and providing you with opportunities to practise your Italian within a social context.

Once you gain proficiency in Italian, you will have the skills to interact with the Italian-Australian business sector, and community, and to pursue an international career.
