The Science Student Awards Gala is an annual event where industry partners and philanthropic supporters are invited to reward outstanding students with financial assistance, scholarships or paid internships.
Almost $100,000 in prizes are awarded each year to nearly 50 Science students.
Sponsor representatives, philanthropic donors and key members of RMIT’s Industry Engagement and Philanthropy teams join winning students at their table.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the STEM College, members of the Science and Engineering executive team, associate deans, academics, and professional staff from across the School (and College) are also in attendance at this gala event.
Recent sponsors include Agilent Technology, Biarri Optimisation, Bueno, GJK Facility Services, Mondo, Nestle Australia, PerkinElmer, Rowe Scientific, Saab Australia Pty Ltd, Simplot Australia, Spiire, Spatial Vision, and Unibank.
Students are acknowledged for their high achievements academically as well as their contribution to the University community.
