PhD scholarship in applications of thermal imaging and AI for chronic wound detection.

We have received an MRFF grant for validation for the use of AI based thermal imaging for detecting delayed wound healing conditions. This is a multidisciplinary project. You will work in the area of Digital Health, and co-supervised by endocrinologist and podiatrist.

You love people and Digital Health. You will be co-supervised by biomedical engineer, endocrinologist and podiatrist, and work closely with diabetic foot clinics. You will work with clinicians to record thermal images of feet of their patients, and with biomedical engineers to model the data for an AI system that can detect the wounds likely to have delayed healing.

$32, 841 (PA) for 3.5 years.
