Reducing methane from Southeast Asia’s rice paddies through climate-smart practices and carbon credits to boost farmer income and cut emissions

EOI deadline is 30 Aug 2025 for Internationals and 30 Sept 2025 for Domestic applicants. Scholarship recipients are expected to commence their program in 2026, with a preferred start date in the first or second quarter of the year.

The minimum stipend value in 2025 is AU$35,886 per annum

It potentially includes field trials, carbon accounting, and geospatial analysis in Southeast Asia, with potential for carbon credit generation and farmer co-benefits.
