Scholarships are with the Joint Research Unit in Digital Manufacturing between Eurecat and RMIT University. Primarily based at Eurecat in Barcelona Spain spending some time (typically 12 months) at RMIT in Melbourne.

  • Must meet participating university PhD admission requirements.
  • Must enrol as a full-time PhD student. 
  • Must be eligible for the appropriate Visa to study in Spain and Australia.

  • Fracture toughness of thin-walled AM parts: effect of thickness and microstructure on the fracture resistance
  • Assessing the effect of using recycled powders on fatigue and fracture resistance of AM parts
  • Hybrid manufacturing of tailored thin plates
