PhD Scholarship in Poultry Vaccine Development (ARC Linkage Project)

This is a fully funded PhD scholarship to develop a vaccine against Spotty Liver Disease in poultry, improving animal health and supporting food security.

This PhD project focuses on developing novel vaccination strategies against Spotty Liver Disease in poultry through investigation of disease mechanisms and host responses using advanced microbiology and synthetic biology approaches.

The candidate is required to have strong microbiology skills and experience in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning and sequencing. An interest in molecular pathogenesis and synthetic biology is essential.
