The PhD project will investigate how hybrid-filled lattice architectures can be designed to achieve functionally graded mechanical properties tailored for both static and dynamic loading conditions, and the role of filler materials obtained from recycling processes in modifying lattice properties and mechanical behaviour.
$35886 per annum for three years with a possible six-month extension

Ideal candidates will have a Master by Research degree; or a Master by Coursework degree with a significant research component graded as high distinction or equivalent; or a Bachelor Honours degree achieving first class honours; in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing), or Science (Physics, Chemistry), or Applied Matehmatics or another suitable field.
