This PhD project aims to develop advanced AI models for biological system modelling, with a particular focus on improving our understanding of ageing mechanisms and identifying potential interventions for ageing and ageing-related diseases. The research will primarily explore graph learning approaches to capture and analyse complex interactions among biological entities, such as genes, proteins, and epigenetic factors.By leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, the project seeks to uncover novel insights into the dynamics of biological systems and their role in ageing processes. The outcomes of this research are expected to contribute to both fundamental biomedical knowledge and practical applications in healthcare, including disease prediction, biomarker discovery, and personalised medicine.
