Applicants must meet RMIT's admission requirements for a PhD and be eligible for enrolment in the National Industry PhD Program – Industry Researcher Stream (Stream 2). Candidates must be employed by the participating industry partner and undertake research aligned with the partner's strategic priorities. A background in organisational psychology, organisational behaviour, management, human resource management, artificial intelligence, data science, information systems, psychometrics, or a related discipline is desirable. Strong quantitative research skills and an interest in AI adoption, digital transformation, organisational change, and advanced data analytics are highly regarded.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to discuss the project before submitting a formal RMIT HDR application. Applicants must also satisfy the eligibility requirements for the National Industry PhD Program – Industry Researcher Stream (Stream 2), including being employed by the participating industry partner.

This project is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in organisational psychology, organisational behaviour, human resource management, management, artificial intelligence, data science, psychometrics, information systems, or related disciplines. Experience with quantitative research methods, survey design, statistics (e.g., R, SPSS, Python), or machine learning is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with industry partners and contribute to developing an evidence-based framework and practical assessment tool to support successful organisational AI adoption.
