The RMIT PhD Scholarship (International) is offered to outstanding candidates undertaking research in the project "Spectroscopic Quantification of Protein Glycation." This project focuses on developing and validating advanced spectroscopic methodologies, including FTIR and Raman techniques, for the quantitative assessment of protein glycation as a biomarker in disease diagnostics. The successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary research environment and collaborate closely with leading experts Professor Shekhar Kumta and Vipul Bansal and Dr. Stanley Chan. The scholarship provides financial support for tuition fees and a living stipend, and is open exclusively to high-achieving international applicants with a strong background in biomedical science, chemistry, or related disciplines.
