RMIT is offering 3 international PhD scholarships for citizens of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru for commencement in 2025.
These scholarships are awarded through the University’s research scholarship rounds and scholarships will be awarded to the most competitive applicants. All scholarship applications are ranked in accordance with the ranking model that has been approved by RMIT’s Research Committee.
RMIT Latam scholarship provides recipients with:
Applicants must be citizens of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. (Applicants with dual citizenship with Australia are ineligible) Scholarships are awarded based on a competitive selection process that ranks applicants according to their academic achievement, research outputs and relevant professional experience.
International applicants must meet English language requirements by the application closing date to be considered for a scholarship.
Applicants from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru can receive a 35% fee reduction on ELICOS programs at RMIT Training. RMIT PhD scholarship does NOT cover ELICOS program tuition fees.
Part-time study load is not accepted.

Applicants should peruse the advertised PhD projects, select a project and draft their Expression of Interest (EOI) for a specific project. Applicants must make contact with the project supervisor and provide evidence of supervision in the online application.
