PhD Scholarship under CTRP

This is a scholarship that supports PhD's involved in Translational Research between the Northern Hospital and the RMIT.

The Clinical Translational Research Partnership between Northern Health and RMIT supports translational research across all disciplines. The research support Ph.D candidates who are enrolled in full time Ph.D's under the CTRP arrangement. Research must involve collaborators from RMIT and Northern Health.

The Maximum Value is $58,000.

The project is suitable for candidates from medicine, biomedical science, laboratory medicine, bioengineering or data science, with an interest in neonatology, infection and diagnostics. Prior experience with statistics or programming (R, Python or similar) is desirable but training will be provided. The student will join a multidisciplinary team with expertise in neonatology, infectious diseases, biomarker discovery, proteomics and point‑of‑care diagnostics, and will have access to established clinical cohorts and advanced analytical platforms.
