Documentary screening: The Last Daughter

RMIT Europe and ANZSBA invite you to a screening of The Last Daughter, a powerful true story about reconciliation, identity and culture.

To mark NAIDOC Week, RMIT Europe in collaboration with the Australia New Zealand Spain Business Association and with the support of the Australian Embassy in Spain, is pleased to invite you to a special screening of the powerful documentary The Last Daughter. The Last Daughter is a moving story about reconciliation, identity, culture and belonging. It chronicles the journey of Brenda, an Aboriginal woman who grew up in two very different families and cultures, and her quest to discover where she truly belongs. The documentary will be screened in English.Following the screening, we invite you to join a reception event.

About NAIDOC WeekThe week from 6 – 13 July 2025 is Australia’s National NAIDOC Week #NAIDOC2025, celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week and the 2025 theme – ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy’ – celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of young leaders, the vision of communities, and the legacy of ancestors.
