Put down your phone, close your laptops and make a cup of tea as you attune your ears to the rich sounds of the cello performed by Thomas Veitch.

Axel Garay has collaborated with cellist and composer Thomas Veitch on the musical component of his current exhibition 'Intercessions'.

Please join us on Open Day for this event. Feel free to bring your knitting, weaving or drawing or just make some space for music.

Tea and snacks will be served.Everyone welcome.

Axel Garay will facilitate three engagements as part of his solo exhibition at First Site Gallery. Each engagement is designed to decompress the busy mind, focus on 'being' rather than 'doing' and reflect on our relationship to 'immersion' as an idea and a practice.

Intercessions is a part of the On-Site exhibition suite, a project showcasing the creative research of RMIT postgraduate candidates at First Site Gallery.
