Learn how to build your very own study agent using RMIT's AI platform Val, control how it behaves, add your own notes safely and pick the right model.

Val is RMIT's own AI platform — free, and every student already has access. Most of us only ever use it to ask questions.

The team who built it are running a hands-on workshop with the RAIsE Student Community to show you how to build with it instead.

In one hour you'll build a study agent: give it your lecture notes and it quizzes you on them, bringing back what you keep getting wrong until it sticks.

You'll learn to set up your own agent and control how it behaves, add your own notes safely, and pick the right model — and know when that choice matters.

Any degree, any year, no coding needed — bring a laptop and notes from one subject.
