Every step you take is likely over a hidden fungal network. In healthy soil, a single handful can contain kilometres of microscopic fungal threads, quietly recycling nutrients, supporting plants, and connecting ecosystems.
Fungi are the Earth's true heroes because they don't dominate the world—they sustain it. They recycle, connect, heal, create and regenerate life on a planetary scale. Every forest, every handful of healthy soil and every breath we take owes something to these extraordinary organisms working quietly beneath our feet.
