The 100% online degree delivers a convenient online program without the requirement for on-campus attendance and commitments. All lecture material and content is delivered directly to you, wherever you are.
This cutting-edge program will help you leverage data and technology, as well as develop your capability to create customer-first experiences and deliver marketing objectives.
You will also have confidence to lead change from disconnected or nascent levels of digital marketing towards multi-moment digital marketing maturity.
The 100% online, now accelerated program means your learning – and graduation – is fast-tracked and focused. You can enrol in any one of our six, seven-week teaching periods each year.
You can view online resources and learning activities, access course materials via Canvas, collaborate with lecturers and fellow students, and access your student email account anywhere, anytime.
Our online learning platform is purpose-built and brings authenticity to your learning experience, available using your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Coursework is delivered in an engaging way and easy to follow.
You will also have access to discussion boards, online forums, electronic assignment submission, the library and business journals.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the teaching period and includes essays, reports, presentations, case studies, quizzes and research projects.
Each course is seven weeks in duration
As part of your studies you will undertake the following four courses:
- Customer First Digital Marketing
- Consumer Analytics
- Marketing Technologies
- Leading Digital Transformation Marketing
An Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher level qualification, in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution and two years full time experience working in a marketing role.
- No qualification with five years full time experience working in a marketing role.
All applicants will be required to submit a curriculum vitae (CV).
Entrance requirements for international applications
All non-Australian residents and overseas full-fee paying students are required to meet RMIT English language requirements. Find out more about these requirements and acceptable English language tests.
Australian student visas
RMIT Online’s Graduate Certificate of Digital Marketing Leadership does not meet Australian student visa requirements. For an Australian student visa, you must have an on-campus place in a program of study.
To study this program you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:
- IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
- TOEFL (Paper Based Test): minimum score of 580 (TWE 4.5)
- TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 92 (with minimum of 20 in all sections)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component

2022 tuition fees are AU$3,720 per course, totalling AU$14,880 for 4 courses.
Fees apply to 2022 only.
Fees are adjusted on an annual basis and these fees should only be used as a guide.

In addition to tuition fees, you will be charged an annual student services and amenities fee (SSAF) based on your enrolment load, which is used to maintain and enhance services and amenities that improve your experience as an RMIT student. Eligible local students can apply for an SA-HELP loan to defer payment of their SSAF.

Some students may be eligible to apply to defer payment of some or all of their tuition fees via the Commonwealth Government’s FEE-HELP loan scheme.
