How to use the RMIT Parking app

The RMIT Parking app can be used for casual parking at RMIT’s campuses.

Follow RMIT’s Single Sign On (SSO) process using RMIT credentials to log in. If you have forgotten your credentials, please reset your password via the Password Reset Portal.

How to add vehicles

  1. Go to Profile, then My Account and select Manage Vehicles
  2. Select Add Vehicle and enter vehicle details
  3. Select Register Vehicle

You can enter multiple vehicles but you must ensure the correct vehicle is selected when your start a parking session to avoid a fine.

Vehicle details can be edited or the vehicle record deleted by selecting the pen icon next to the vehicle and then selecting Update Vehicle or Delete Vehicle

How to pay for casual parking

  1. Select Zone to enter the parking zone number, or select Find a Park and your RMIT location should automatically appear (please ensure location tracking is on)
  2. Confirm location, vehicle details and payment method for your parking
  3. Set the timer for the duration you would like to park
  4. Select Start Casual Session

You can extend or stop a casual parking session by selecting Zone to bring up your active session and then selecting Extend or Stop and following the prompts.
