With over 28 pieces of new Life Fitness cardio equipment, 24 pin loaded and plate loaded Life Fitness and Hammer Strength stations, free weights area and cardio entertainment system, you’ll be able to work every part of your body effectively, making the most of every minute.

Our Health Club also provides fast and easy access to our large group fitness studio where you have access to floor mats, fit balls, medicine balls, foam rollers, TRX bands and more for stretching and core strengthening & conditioning exercises.

At RMIT Sports Centre we understand that starting an exercise program for the first time can be a little intimidating, so our fully qualified and friendly staff are here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Membership starts with an amazing three one-hour introductory sessions with your very own health and fitness instructor who will support and guide you through those important early workout stages.

Your first complementary session begins with a comprehensive health and fitness evaluation which includes:

  • Personal profile
  • Exercise and sporting history
  • Medical history
  • Cardiac risk assessment
  • Training goals and objectives
  • Nutritional advice and guidance
  • Physical assessment and fitness testing
  • Review and planning

Your instructor will use baseline information and personal goals set out in your assessment to design a program especially for you and then assess your progress and success over time. Your membership also includes two complementary exercise program inductions where your trainer will take you through each individual exercise on your program ensuring you understand how to perform every movement safely, adjust your training loads and use each individual machine correctly.

Membership also includes regular re-assessments every 12 weeks so you and your trainer can work closely assessing your progress, identifying improvements and discussing any barriers and or new challenges.
