Fitness and fun with friends and it’s all completely free!

At RMIT we are committed to helping students stay fit, healthy, active and well.

Regular exercise is a proven way to improve the student experience and to better balance campus life. Maintaining an active lifestyle improves fitness, health, concentration, mood and overall physical and mental wellbeing.

Our world class sports precinct includes a diverse range of quality indoor and outdoor sporting facilities stretched out over 20 hectares of landscape grounds at the Universities Bundoora West campus.

Kick a football or soccer ball, have a hit of tennis or squash, or throw a basketball or netball around with friends, it’s all completely free to enjoy if you’re a student with RMIT. We’ll even include the sports hire equipment completely free of charge so you can just focus on enjoying a game and active workout your friends.

Student Free Play times are 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Student Free Play terms and conditions:
Must be a current RMIT student and display a valid student ID card at reception to participate. No prior day bookings of space are available. All sport and recreation facilities are subject to availability as long as no prior booking already exists (i.e. academic, school, college, community club usage).
