Our partnership approach

  • Centering Indigenous and local knowledge systems, ensuring respectful, inclusive and co-designed approaches to research and development;
  • Collaborating with regional universities and civil society organisations to convene, supplement, aggregate and build capacity, expertise, leadership and community cohesion;
  • Working with the Australian Government, multilateral institutions, philanthropic foundations and the private sector; and
  • Building interdisciplinary teams across RMIT (including via the Planetary Civics Inquiry and the Regenerative Futures Institute) to contribute to RMIT’s strategic engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.
