A Sense of Place: Building a mentally healthy workplace (2019-2021)

Summary

The research sought to manage the systematic capture, analysis and reporting of data relating to the six Sense of Place (SoP) components included in a framework developed by RMIT researchers in the early stages of the project. The six components include: community, engagement, respect, life balance, support & resilience.

A literature review was carried out to consider these six components, prior to data collection.

This rolling schedule of data collection would use focus groups, diary data capture and/or interviews with purposefully selected sub-sets of project personnel to gain subjective insights into the impacts of specific initiatives that would form part of the overall SoP program. However, the focus of the project changed and the data collection component did not proceed.
