Development of an evidence informed H&S performance index (2021-2022)

Summary

This project involves the development of an evidence-informed Health and Safety Performance Index for use during the construction and delivery of Suburban Rail Loop. The project will report on the state of play of local, national and international best practice Health & Safety Performance Index reporting to the Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) Executive Leadership Team and Governance Board.

The proposed work will be conducted in five stages:

  • Stage 1: Desktop literature review
  • Stage 2: Data scan from existing comparable construction projects or organisations with exemplary H&S performance
  • Stage 3: Collation of data and analysis
  • Stage 4: Industry engagement workshop and index development
  • Stage 5: Development of an evidence-informed Health and Safety Performance Index
