Results for deferred exams are usually released 28 days after the assessment date. Once they’ve been released they will be visible in myRMIT.

If you’ve waited more than 28 days since your deferred assessment please get in touch with your academic school by submitting an enquiry through the RMIT Connect Portal below.

A weighted average mark (WAM) is only calculated for students enrolled in honours programs.

In one-year honours programs, all courses are included in the WAM calculation.
In four-year honours programs, only the most advanced, outcome level courses are nominated by the program to be used in the WAM calculation.

You can read more about WAM here or if you still have questions get in touch with your academic school by submitting an enquiry through the RMIT Connect Portal below.

In light of COVID-19, and with the health and safety of the RMIT community in mind, we have made the decision to cancel or defer the following 2020 Graduation ceremonies.

If you choose to graduate in absentia, you'll graduate at the end of the month in which your school marks you as complete from your program. You'll then be given access to your digital testamur via My eQuals

If you graduate in absentia, you'll be unable to attend a future graduation ceremony for that program.

You're ready to graduate when you've:
  • met all academic requirements of your program
  • no missing results or credit transfers
  • no outstanding debts to the University
  • met all additional requirements as detailed here.
On track? Great! You’re ready to apply to graduate.

To find out more about any of these requirements or your eligibility, get in touch with us.

You can apply to graduate via Enrolment Online

  • Go to My Student Record > Graduation details > Apply to graduate/Change graduation option.
  • Follow the instructions to select your graduation option and complete your application.
After you've applied, you can continue to log in to change your graduation option and other details until the deadline.

You can choose to graduate at a Ceremony or in absentia. For more information on graduation options, please click here.

To view and update your details log in to Enrolment Online then select Update my details.

Check that your personal details are correct, including your personal email address. We’ll send all further communications about graduation to your personal* email, not your RMIT student email.

Once you graduate, RMIT is legally required to deactivate your student email account and cancel your access to RMIT systems such as Canvas. Unless you’re continuing your studies at RMIT, you’ll lose access to all RMIT systems 24-48 hours after you graduate.

Before then, please save any information you need that’s stored in your student email or on RMIT systems to your own personal device or cloud storage.
