Partnerships

The School of Education is dedicated to industry and community engagement by providing pathways through research, placements and specific individual projects.

Our partnerships

A great strength of our programs is the extensive partnership network we have with early childhood, primary, secondary, and other educational settings.

These relationships enable our pre-service teachers to gain a wide experience of teaching in different educational environments and settings. Experiences vary from the city centre to suburban, semi-rural, remote and international settings, laying a sound foundation for future employment in the profession.

We are committed to the development of effective and creative working relationships with our partners and strive to build on opportunities presented to work collaboratively with them in:

  • Developing future teachers;
  • Exploring research opportunities;
  • Co-constructing curriculum; and
  • Enabling professional development.

We are always keen to develop our partnerships further, with schools and other settings, so please contact us to discuss the possibilities: education.placements@rmit.edu.au
