Over the past decade, RMIT university has significantly strengthened its global standing, rising from outside the top 300 in 2015 to 119th in world in the 2027 QS World University Rankings.
Our School is also recognised globally across multiple engineering disciplines, including ranking as high as 32nd for Civil Engineering and 34th for Aerospace Engineering, with both ranking 1st in Australia by the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. We are also ranked 82nd worldwide for Mechanical Engineering. Incorporating all of our discipline areas, our School is ranked 123rd for Engineering and Technology by the QS World University Ranking of Academic Subjects.
