Rapid Discovery and Fabrication

Novel materials and processes via rapidly exploring options

The RDF Team is focussed on discovering new materials and processes through the development of computational models, combinatorial materials discovery and innovative processing tools. Our team has three key areas, materials modelling, nanotechnology and metals and process design, which integrate in our applications. The focus of each is:

●        Materials Modelling: Computational design of materials and developing deep understanding of material/environment interactions

●        Nanotechnology: Developing sensory and response capacity to environmental and biological systems

●        Metals & Process Design: Developing new passivation and coatings for metals and new processes for forming metals
